Happy February!
The barrel races are coming in so keep looking on the website and in the
newspaper for updates!
A big thanks to Shane Spritzer and Kim Smartlowit for putting on a Saddle
Series in Wapato and White Swan. Should be fun and see you there!
In January EVERYONE was sorry to see that Monroe was cancelled due to
weather:( Jackie G. has now put that added money toward her race in Gold
Bar in March! The SPRING FLING approval is also on the website! This
should be updated as soon as we have more on the added money. Good work
Jackie!
WBRA officers are having a meeting February 19th in Ellensburg. We are
discussing new ideas and sponsorships for this next year. If anyone has
ideas or wants to present something to the officers please e-mail me at
katybremner@fairpoint.net. We are also discussing the BIG WBRA races -
SPRING FLING, LAST CHANCE, FUTURITY and FINALS. These races will also be
discussed during the SPRING FLING Meeting during SPRING FLING RACE in
April.
Rulebooks have been mailed out! Please read and remember to have it with
you everywhere you go! ONE note is that the back page for race producers
checklist has not been updated along with the current champions. We have
updated this for the future rulebooks. Everything else is the rulebook
is correct! If you didn't get one or need another one contact Lynn Beck.
On another note - A BIG BIG THANKS to DIANE MILLER who is now the
FUTURITY DIRECTOR for this year. She has some new ideas for this BIG
WBRA race and we are glad to have her back on the board!
